Happy International Day of Forests 2025 from Bertling!

Today, 21 March 2025, marks the International Day of Forests — a time to recognize the vital role forests play in supporting life on Earth. Forests clean our air, purify water, combat climate change by capturing carbon, and provide food and life-saving medicine. They’re also home to an incredible diversity of species, essential for maintaining our planet’s ecosystems.

At Bertling, we’re passionate about protecting these invaluable resources. We’re proud to support three impactful forest conservation projects across Indonesia, Ethiopia, and Brazil. Discover more about our initiatives on our sustainability section and see how we're making a difference!

Closer to home, we’re continuing our partnership with PLANT-MY-TREE® in Germany. Back in 2022, we participated in the country’s largest tree-planting event, planting trees in Itzehoe, near Hamburg. This year, in 2025, we’re excited to return to this beautiful area to continue supporting reforestation efforts and planting more trees.

Together with PLANT-MY-TREE®, we’re proud to have donated 250 trees to support reforestation in Northern Germany. This year, let’s renew our commitment to protecting forests worldwide — whether through tree planting, supporting conservation efforts, or advocating for sustainable policies. Every action counts towards a greener, healthier future.
