Bike to Work Days 2024 have started and we from F.H. Bertling Logistics will take this week to raise awareness for sustainable commuting, regular exercising and staff health.
Lease a bike
In Germany, our colleagues have the opportunity to lease a discounted company bike! Our partner is Lease-a-Bike. At the end of the leasing period, employees can purchase the bike for a reduced price. Read more on Lease a bike with Bertling.
Biking for the good cause
We have invited all colleagues to participate in the charity project organized by Lease a Bike: Every mile counts and everyone can participate. On one or all days. With or without a company bike. Lease a Bike will donate 10 cents to the SOS Children's Village in Düsseldorf for every commute kilometer driven.
The donations from the kilometers cycled will benefit various projects of the SOS Children's Village in Düsseldorf, with which we have been working for several years. For example, the money will be used for the children's daycare center, the sibling living group and the children's and youth center. Among other things, we support the children's language development and make recreational projects possible.
How does it work?
- You can register directly on the website biketoworkdays.lease-a-bike.de.
- Enter our Bertling contract ID. Do you not have a leased bike with Bertling? Then they can enter their company ID. After the input, a personalized page for your company opens.
- There you can enter how many kilometers you have ridden during the campaign. This can be done daily, but no later than 07.06.24.
- All the kilometers our employees have cycled together will be recorded in a progress report, which you can view at any time by entering your company ID on the above-mentioned page.
Bertling Hamburg office bike
This beauty will be available in our Hamburg Head office from next week onwards. It can be used by all colleagues during lunchbreaks, for small errands and to bike to events. First come, first serve.
