We are thrilled to announce that our Bremen office participated in the Cleanup Days campaign held between 12 and 13 April 2024 in Bremen, Germany. Cleanup Days saw schools, daycare centers, companies, clubs, groups of friends, and families join hands for spring cleaning across the city.
Our Bremen team was divided into two groups and ventured out to collect garbage from specific central parts of Bremen. The first team embarked on their mission in the morning, cleaning up the surroundings of Wallanlagen, historically known as ramparts, which once protected the city from attackers. Today, many Bremen residents enjoy their lunch breaks in the cozy green spaces nestled in the city's heart.
The second embarked on their mission in the afternoon and took on the challenge of cleaning up the Marktplatz, the main marketplace, considered the heart of Bremen.
The picturesque Schnoor district, one of the city's absolute highlights, followed. Just a stone's throw away from Bremen's market square, the Schnoor district continues to captivate locals and visitors alike with its unique charm and historic significance.
Lastly, our dedicated team tackled cleaning the center part of Osterdeich, arguably the most popular dike in Bremen, stretching between Hemelingen and the city center, a favorite gathering spot for Bremen residents to enjoy the scenic views of the Weser River.
We are very grateful to our colleagues who dedicated their time and effort to make this event successful and we are also proud to mention that one of our colleagues from the morning team even came from her maternity leave with her son to help clean up. Their commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement truly embodies our values as a company.
