It is with some sadness to advise that our highly respected colleague Mike Hetherington has his last day today at Bertling Logistics. Mike has been with us for 19 years.
Mike’s farewell celebrations at our Middlesbrough office are in full swing and our Heavy Lift and Warehouse teams have arranged for some nice surprises for Mike.
Mike has been with us at my most challenging times when under pressure and also at the times of our greatest successes.
Mike goes to retirement with our thanks and congratulations for a career well lived and a retirement well earned.
This closes out a chapter but also opens up a new one with Urs Schaerer succeeding Mike as Technical Director for the Bertling Logistics Group (as announced already).
Happy retirement, Mike! You will truly be missed.
