We are pleased to announce that Frank Fischer will join the Management of Bertling’s Shipping Division latest on 1 May 2024.
Mr. Fischer joins us from Hamburg Chartering Services, where he still is Managing Partner, and from Carrier53, where he is Partner and Advisor.
Previously, Mr. Fischer was Managing Director of ZEAMARINE (prior to the joint venture between Zeaborn, Rickmers-Line and Intermarine), where he was Managing Director of Intermarine. In this role Frank was responsible for the time chartering and capacity management. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fischer held the position of Managing Director at GB Shipping and Reederei Buss in Leer, East Frisia.
In summary, Mr. Fischer brings over 30 years of quality experience in chartering, sale and purchase, new build, and operational management to his new role at Bertling and we look forward to his contribution and input to the continued success of our shipping and chartering operations.
