We are happy to announce the promotion of Chris Wightman to Logistics Group Engineering Director. In his new role, Chris will report to our Group Technical Director Urs Schaerer.
Chris has been with Bertling since 2010 when he joined us from Mammoet. As a fully qualified and experienced engineer, Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The University of Sunderland.
Since joining Bertling, Chris has taken on increasingly complex tasks within the organisation and is recognised for his technical skills, knowledge, and general all-around competence, which reflects in the overall high quality of his work.
Altogether, Chris as well as the whole our Technical Team in Middlesbrough will continue to work closely with our clients on their challenging shipments whilst ensuring best engineering practices in line with and in compliance to accepted global standards in the marine, offshore and energy industries are always applied to our operations.
