We are proud to announce that Bertling Logistics offices in the UK and our Heavy Lift and Engineering team successfully transported a 170Te transformer from Antwerp to Ramsgate Royal Harbour.
Bertling’s scope included feasibility studies, route and site surveys, project management, and seamless coordination with the client, vendor, manufacturer, and site owner.
Key challenges included determining port constraints, conducting route and site surveys, and planning for a tight offloading window due to draft and tide restrictions. With the support of our technical engineering drawings and comprehensive RAMS documentation, we ensured flawless execution.
