We are pleased to announce that our logistics JV in Guyana has reached a major milestone since its inception in September 2023: We have received our Local Content Certificate, issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources/Local Content Secretariat.
This important certificate demonstrates our prioritization of Guyanese nationals and Guyanese companies in the procurement of goods and services, as well as our commitment to value addition in the oil and gas sector and local capacity development.
"This is an important step for our Guyana JV and demonstrates our commitment to becoming a recognized quality freight and project partner for the energy industry in Guyana, while supporting the local economy, people and communities," says Colin MacIsaac, CEO of Bertling Logistics.
