Bertling Logistics has been active in the Americas for many years with its own offices in important transport hubs across North and South America. Our business focus in these countries lies in project logistics, resupply, trucking, and shipping/chartering services to, from, and within North and South America to the energy, mining, chemical, infrastructure, and renewable sectors.
In the past years, we have seen increasing demand for mining logistics and mining resupply services also outside those countries in which we had established our presence already – especially in central and northeastern South America. Suriname, in particular, has become an important business destination for us, to which we already operate resupply services for some of our mining clients.
Due to the increased demand for logistics services to Suriname and surrounding countries, Bertling is proud to announce that has opened a new office to better serve our clients and to enhance our presence and commitment to the region. The new Suriname office is a branch of our US firm, which will work closely with our Miami, Houston, and Dallas teams.
The office address is:

Bertling starting a new chapter in the capital of Suriname
“We consider Suriname as a country with high potential and growing demand for logistics services”, says Colin MacIsaac, CEO of Bertling Logistics. “We have been operating mining and energy projects in the country for several years and are one of only logistics companies offering both project logistics and logistics resupply services to Suriname”, MacIsaac continues. “All business we operate in Suriname is conducted under the highest safety, sustainability, and environmental standards to protect the country’s unique flora and fauna. We have partnered with “Friends of Green Suriname” to underpin our commitment to responsible logistics services to Suriname.”
Colin MacIsaac, CEO of Bertling Logistics
By having our own office in the country’s capital, we envisage increasing our level of activity in Suriname by further extending our relationships with local transport companies and port operators, and overseas clients. We aim to also offer our sophisticated logistics and resupply services to companies in the energy sector doing business in Suriname. Due to our presence, our past logistics and resupply expertise, our varied local subcontractor network, and our extensive in-country forwarding know-how Bertling Logistics is well-positioned to offer end-to-end logistics services to Suriname and surrounding countries.
