Our Bertling office in Johannesburg, South Africa has started to move to new premises on 6 March 2023. We are happy to inform you that we are fully set up and operational from our new address, which is:

Bertling South Africa has shown solid growth over the last few years, and the lease was due to expire on both the offices and warehouse. The previous premises did not allow for the increased capacity for the new projects beginning in early 2023. Therefore, we took the chance for a fresh start into promising looking future growth prospects over the next few years in our brand-new office and warehouse premises. Our new facility has implemented the following sustainability initiatives
- We only purchase our water from companies who support the green initiative
- All our water is supplied in 100% recyclable bottles
- All our lights are fitted with energy-efficient LED light bulbs
- Low Energy boilers have been fitted in our kitchens
- Finance department and the Kamoa project team will be going 100% paperless from 1 April
- Operations team will be working with Nancy Neto and Therese Strootman to work towards electronic file management for a paperless environment
- Plants have been ordered to increase oxygen levels in the office and will be maintained by an external company
Both our new office and warehouse are strategically located side by side close to
- OR Tambo International Airport
- R21 Freight park, connected all major freight forwarding agencies and clients
- Direct access to the R21 North / South Corridor connecting ZA to Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and DRC
- Truck Hubs, allowing us to park large volumes of trucks near our facility
- A grade 24-hour security within an independent freight park
- Direct access through the R21 to the N3 highway which gives us access to Durban port
Also, our new warehouse is now fully ready and set up to serve existing and potential clients under the most modern warehousing standards. Our facility encompasses:
- 4,000 sqm floor space
- 4 x Dock levellers for receiving and dispatch
- Large access door to allow vehicle access from indoor receiving
- 3 New forklifts (2 x 3.5ton and 1 x 10ton)
- Sufficient access to receive both tri axle and super link vehicles, along with all smaller express vehicles
- Option to expand the warehouse by an additional 6000 sqm
- 24-hour CCTV security
- 750 sqm of prime office space attached to the warehouse
- Independent Power generator to ensure electricity security to maintain full operations
