About Cyber Security Awareness Month
October has been declared National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This month-long effort is all about spotlighting cyber security best practices and rallying everyone to combat cyber threats. This year’s theme is “Secure our World” with the intention to protect yourself, and your business from online dangers with simple, effective steps, which we must all take.
Cyber Security at Bertling with everybody’s support
This is why we keep investing in IT security awareness training. Throughout our ongoing IT security awareness training – which is mandatory for all employees at Bertling, we receive helpful tips, and guidelines to improve our understanding of:
- Recognizing cyber threats such as phishing, malware, and ransomware
- Safe browsing habits and protecting personal and professional devices
- Creating strong passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication
- Securing company data both in the office and while working remotely.
Our goal is to best equip all employees with the knowledge and tools to prevent potential cyberattacks and foster a culture of security awareness at Bertling to “Secure our Bertling World”.
