October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and October 19th marks International Day Against Breast Cancer. Breast cancer is a risk that affects both women and men. In fact, 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, making it the second most common cancer among females. Although less common among men, breast cancer still affects 1 out of every 1000 men.
Early detection is crucial, as 90% of early-stage breast cancers are curable. That's why raising awareness is essential, and that's exactly what we're doing here at Bertling.
Breast Cancer Awareness Webinar
On October 18th, F.H. Bertling Logistics in Hamburg and London hosted a breast cancer awareness webinar to increase knowledge among our colleagues. The webinar, led by our Health and Safety Director, Kara Murphy, was highly appreciated and provided us with the life-saving information above.
Together, we stand united against breast cancer.
