Pride Month is celebrated in June to honor and promote the visibility, rights, and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community. The month-long observance originated from the historical events known as the Stonewall Riots in 1969. Pride Month serves as a platform for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to come together, raise awareness, celebrate diversity, and advocate for equal rights - and we do so as well at Bertling Logistics - not only in June, but always.
These initiatives foster unity, encourages acceptance, and challenges stereotypes and prejudice. It is a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights and promotes a more inclusive and accepting world.
To show our commitment and support to the LGBTQ+ community we have encouraged all offices to participate in activities related to Pride Month. More information and pictures will be shared soon.
