Each XTree weighted 74 ton/116cbm and Bertling’s SOW was vessel chartering as well as loading coordination and supervision. The complex loading operation was against the clock with the weather potentially turning during the loading operation, which looked likely to result in a port closure from high winds. Loading delay could have led to 6 days waiting on a weather window. Therefore, we began loading earlier than usual to meet the tide and completed operations on time and without a single incident. Well done to Stuart Henderson and the whole team involved.
