WE ARE HIRING

Our dynamic, international organization is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team for an exciting opportunity in our London office.

The successful applicant will be involved with:

  • Accounting oversight: Ensuring that accounting records are accurate and that reported results comply with accounting and Group standards.
  • Financial planning and reporting: Preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly financial reports for local management team and Group.
  • Financial analysis: Producing financial analysis and commentary for local management team and Group.
  • Managing audits: Lead fieldwork packs and request lists from external accountants, tax advisors and auditors.
  • Ensuring compliance: Ensuring the company complies with local laws and regulations and Group matters.
  • Financial risk management: Working with local leadership team to ensure adherence to Group standards.
  • Cash flow management: Producing third-party and inter-company cash flow forecasts.
  • Training: Leading the training process for the finance department and admin team.

Key Activities include:

  • Project Accounting - data quality, income recognition and work-in-progress
  • Sales & Gross Profit - variance analysis and commentary
  • Balance Sheet - reconciliations and integrity thereof
  • Accounts Receivable - order to cash (credit controller and admin supervisor)
  • Accounts Payable - procure to pay suppliers and overheads (accounts assistants)
  • Overheads - oversight of accounting for property and other administration expenses
  • Cashflow - oversee cashbook actuals and forecasts
  • HMRC - various matters incl. vat return

The successful applicant will have/be:

  • Presentation skills
  • Pragmatic approach to (and) problem solving and decision making skills
  • Coaching and people management skills
  • PC literate with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint operational skills
  • Administration and Man Management skills
  • Accountant fully qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience in a similar role (essential)
