WE ARE HIRING
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Airfreight Business Development Manager to join our team for an exciting opportunity in Germany.
Your impact and responsibilities:
- Identify & define new global Freight Forwarding Customers, who desire to have a global Logistics Partner, who drives innovation and reliable end-to-end Transport Management Solutions
- Organize client visits, Follow Ups, Calls independently on a regular basis
- Present and represent Bertling's innovative Logistic Capabilities to a wide range of New Customers.
- Proactively identify new potential customers and effectively report these leads, and all your commercial activities, in our CRM to share them with the team
- Develop and maintain own sales pipeline of verified opportunities
- Create proposals and present these to the (potential) clients
- Managed the entire sales cycle for owned clients
- Represent and sell Airfreight Services and Transport Management Solutions in the most compelling, tailor-made, and sustainable way
- Present sustainable Transport Services to our clients while fully adhering to our corporate sustainability, compliance and integrity standards during sales activities
Your Skills and Requirements
- Completed studies in forwarding and logistics services
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in international Freight Forwarding, Air Freight Experience preferred
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills (in both English and German, written and verbal) and proficient skills in common Microsoft Office Tools
- Outgoing personality with a high focus on Customer Service
- Highly motivated, persistent, empathic, innovative, tech-savvy as well as detail- and result-oriented
- Hands-on attitude to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must: valid Work Permit for Germany
